CAT SALTER

Cathryn (Cat) Salter was born  in Dorset.  She lived abroad for her childhood in Europe and  moved to South Africa in 1982 where she studied for a BA in Fine Art at the University of the Witswatersrand, Johannesburg.

She now runs her own businesses as an Artist, keen photographer and Professional Garden Designer in Worcestershire and is married with two children.

Her style of work is based on representational observation of the subject matter and she loves the play of colours against each other.  She is drawn to subject matter that has unusual lighting; how the light falls on a face or the reflections on the scales of a fish.
